About this Shoe

Aromatic cedar wood shoe tree, with brass fittings. Loake reccomend using shoe trees to preserve the shape of your shoes when not in use. The cedar also imparts a pleasant natural aroma into the shoes, and absorbs moisture.

Caring for your Loake shoes

With proper maintenance and attention, your Loake shoes will retain their excellent appearance and comfort in wear for years to come. Leather is a natural product and your shoes will benefit if the following recommendations are observed:

  • Always use a shoehorn when putting on your shoes. This will keep the backs strong and sturdy.
  • Try to wear your shoes in dry conditions for the first few occasions.
  • Fine leather shoes can require a full day to dry out from natural perspiration. Try to give them at least twenty-four hours between wears.
  • Try to avoid excessive wetting. Should this occur, always let the shoes dry naturally away from direct heat. Use newspaper inside the shoe to help the leather dry out.
  • Your shoes will benefit from regular use of a good-quality cream or wax polish. This helps to moisturise the leather, as well as prevent cracking and excessive creasing.
  • We use leather soles for the comfort and health of your feet. Attaching rubber additions to the sole or heel can affect the balance and comfort of the shoe, and put excessive strain on the construction.

Return Policy

If, for any reason, you are not entirely satisfied with your Loake shoes you can return them to us within 28 days for a full refund.

It is very important that items to be refunded on are returned to us in a saleable condition. They must be unworn and still in the original packaging with any labels, swing-tags, etc. still attached.

Write your name, address, postcode and order number on the returns form and enclose it with your shoes.

Replace the items in the original packaging and attach the address label.

Goods are returned at your own expense. We recommend that you obtain proof of posting and retain this until the refund has been processed. If you wish to order replacements, these will be sent to you free of carriage charges.

On receipt of the returned goods, we will refund to the original method of payment the full price paid for the items returned to us.

Please remember to complete the returns form with your returned products.

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you may, before the end of the statuary cancellation period (7 days from the day after you receive the goods), notify us by email at online@loake.co.uk that you wish to cancel your order. You must then return the goods to us along with the returns form as previously mentioned.

Nothing under these terms and conditions affects your statuary rights.
